Low-cost Therapy in Partnership with the HSE
Therapy for €30 per 50-minute session
€30 individual therapy sessions are available to people who meet our low-cost eligibility criteria.
You may be eligible if you:

earn less than €31,000 gross per year before tax

are full-time third-level students
-
receive a state pension
-
are unemployed or unwaged
You must be 18 or over and a full-time resident of the Republic of Ireland.
What documents do I need?
You'll need to provide a recent document to confirm your eligibility.

If you earn less than €31,000 gross per year
Upload a payslip or bank statement from the last three months showing your gross earnings. -
If you're a full-time third-level student
Upload a valid student card or a recent receipt for a State Training Allowance from an Education and Training Board, SOLAS or another State body. -
If you receive a state pension
Upload a receipt showing your State or private pension. -
If you're unemployed or unwaged
Upload recent proof of your social welfare payment from the Department of Social Protection (DSP), dated within the last three months.
How it works
1. Register
Create your MyMind account and select your employment status.
2. Upload your document
Upload your supporting document or take a photo of it.
3. Get approved
Our office team will review your document. We'll email you when your application has been approved. If we need another document, we'll let you know.
4. Book your appointment
Once approved, log in to your MyMind account and book your appointment. Your €30 discount will be applied at checkout.

When are appointments available?
Appointments are available:
Monday to Friday: 8am–9pm
Saturday: 8am–2pm
Low-Cost appointments are provided subject to funding availability. You can receive up to 12 discounted sessions under the low-cost service.

MyMind provides professional counselling and psychotherapy for mild to moderate mental health difficulties. MyMind is not an emergency or crisis service.

Terms & Conditions – Low-cost project (HSE-Funded 2026)

MyMind, with funding from the HSE, is providing up to twelve (12) discounted individual counselling sessions to eligible clients during 2026.

Eligibility

Appointments are available to individuals aged 18 and over who are residing in the Republic of Ireland.

Appointments are provided subject to funding availability.
-
Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria and provide valid supporting documentation.

Accessing Low-Cost sessions
-
Applicants must register with MyMind and provide the required supporting documentation.
-
New and existing clients can apply for the low-cost rate by providing the required supporting documentation.

Clients can book discounted appointments once their eligibility has been approved.

The discount cannot be applied retrospectively to sessions that have already taken place.

Each client must have one MyMind account only. Duplicate accounts are not permitted.

If your circumstances change and you no longer meet the eligibility criteria, the standard rate will apply.

Session Limits

Each eligible client may receive a maximum of twelve (12) discounted sessions.

Any additional sessions will be subject to MyMind's standard fees, unless otherwise agreed with MyMind.

Cancellations and No-Shows
-
Late cancellations (less than 24 hours’ notice) and non-attendance will result in the session being counted as used.

Missed or forfeited sessions cannot be rescheduled under this funding.

Use of Sessions

All funded sessions must be completed by December 31, 2026.

Confidentiality
-
All counselling sessions are confidential, in line with MyMind’s Privacy Policy.

Only anonymised data will be shared with the HSE for monitoring and reporting purposes.

Availability
-
Therapist availability may vary. MyMind will endeavour to accommodate all eligible clients within the available capacity but cannot guarantee specific appointment times or therapist preferences.
