MyMind webinar: Exploring personality, trauma and pathways to maturity

To access the video recording of the event please visit MyMind's YouTube channel here.

Each one of us has our own unique personality —  the habitual way we are in the world. Our personality is an adaptation to our family of origin and to the broader social context in which we find ourselves. As we develop, we encounter difficult experiences which  inevitably impact us. These experiences can leave traces in our minds and bodies that we now recognise as trauma.

This free webinar examines what we know about personality, its origins, how trauma can impact our personality, and examine pathways to personal growth and maturity.

MyMind  has been offering mental health counselling services, both face-to-face and online since it was set up in 2006. Our mission is to provide affordable and accessible counselling to anyone who needs it.  We have a multicultural and multilingual team of over 110 therapists currently offer a variety of therapeutic approaches in 15 languages.

We are currently providing free online counselling services to people who have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic whether it's through bereavement, job loss, increased anxiety or depression, or addiction. Support is provided by a team of qualified mental health professionals, and all sessions are held in strict confidence through MyMind's own online platform.

This free public event took place on Thursday July 8 at 11am and was followed by a Q&A session.
